Hollow Clock

  • Designed and built a hollow clock featuring a floating hand mechanism driven by magnets, a stepper motor, and a custom gear-rotor assembly.
  • Modified and extended an existing CAD model in Blender to integrate new mechanical and electronic components.
  • Iterated through multiple 3D-printed prototypes to refine alignment, balance, and motion stability.
  • Implemented Arduino-based motor control, including wiring and basic power electronics, to drive precise rotational motion.
  • Integrated mechanical design, electronics, and control logic into a cohesive, functional electromechanical system.
